New Sidebar and Notes Tab

This release includes bug fixes and updates to the CDS Platform ahead of upcoming personalization and enrichment features.

• Sidebar menu — A new sidebar provides space for customer enrichment options coming soon.
• Notes tab — A new Notes tab appears on the CDS page. Creating your own notes on classifications is coming in a future release.

Standard, Edition, and OIR Selection

CSI Dynamic Standards and Division Hierarchies now include three dropdowns for selecting a Standard, Edition, and Operational Information Release (OIR). MasterFormat 2026 is now identified as 26.0, with the new OIR available as 26.1.

View Divisions for 26.1

A new button on the CSI Dynamic Standards and Division Hierarchies pages displays the divisions for 26.1 across MasterFormat, UniFormat, and OmniClass.

Explore Changes in 26.1

A new Changes in 26.1 page shows the transitions from 2026 to 26.1, making it easier to review what has changed.

Expanded Document Transition Tool

The Document Transition Tool now supports transitions from any MasterFormat OIR to 26.1.

Updated Signup and User Management

Signup and user management have been updated to support OIR changes, including the preferred standard users select when creating an account.

New Crosswalk Structure

Crosswalks are now organized into General, PPD Track - UniFormat, and OmniModel.

Improved Standards Navigation and Crosswalks

We’ve made several updates to CSI Dynamic Standards and Division Hierarchies:

• Clearer standards and version selection — Standards and versions are now easier to identify and select, making it clearer which dataset you’re currently browsing.
• Parent explanations in CSI Dynamic Standards — Parent explanations are now displayed where available, providing additional context as you navigate the standards hierarchy.
• Expanded Crosswalk structure — Crosswalks now include a new General subgroup, introducing a structure designed to support additional crosswalks in future standards releases.

Updated CDS Platform Design

Updated sign-in and menu pages provide a consistent look across the CDS Platform. A new card layout and improved app organization make tools easier to find and select.

Document Verification Tool

A new tool has been added to verify MF 2020 codes in uploaded PDF documents. The tool returns an annotated PDF, highlighting invalid codes and adding comments to valid codes so users can confirm they are using the correct classifications.

OmniClass Table Search

We now support table-specific OmniClass searching. When OmniClass is selected, users can choose an OmniClass table so search results and suggestions are limited to the selected table.

Smarter Search

With "Did you mean?" suggestions, finding the right content is now easier with enhanced search suggestions when your search does not return an exact match.

Recognized Alternatives

The system now suggests recognized alternative terms to help you find relevant results more quickly. For example, searching for "dry wall" may return Did you mean: "Gypsum Board".

Introducing: Document Transition Assistant

A new tool to identify MF 2020 codes in your PDF document that have transitions to MF 2026. Upload a PDF document containing MF 2020 codes, and the tool will highlight those which have updates in MF 2026.
